Mobile as a planner

What makes you ready for the day? A planner! If you are one of those people whose schedule is always full of meetings and pick-ups and dinners, you are probably in need of planning as much as anyone else. What if your 2 p.m. meeting on Thursday has been pre-poned for Wednesday at 1 p.m.? You cannot rely on your calendar all the time! It is your beloved niece’s birthday on Friday and you can’t depend on your secretary either, what would you do? In these times, you need a gadget which remains with you 24*7. What else than your cell phone can be better for such a thing?

Cell phones are the gadgets people are addicted to. From drawing rooms to bathrooms, people are found fidgeting with these devices that are truly indispensable part of their lives. With the advent in technology, many new features and applications have been developed which makes your life easier and more convenient with cell phones. Also, being handy is one unmatchable feature of these devices which makes them so useful.

A basic mobile handset comes with features like calendar, notes, phone book, notepad etc. These features, although seem very basic, but opens a whole new world of possibilities for a person. Using the reminder, you will never forget a birthday of any close one, or never ever be late for a meeting. The reminder alarm would take care of your schedule, unless you choose to ignore it with the snooze button! The calendar is the most convenient feature where in you can save your important meetings and appointments. Most of the mobile handsets display the stored items of the calendar on the home screen, making it all the more convenient for you. If this is not enough for you, there are various planning applications available online that can be downloaded on your cell phone. These apps have user friendly interface and can be customised according to your own needs. Whether you are a banker, a lawyer, a doctor or a student, these apps prove to be beneficial to all.

The notepad is also a very interesting feature of your mobile handset. Forget shuffling the papers for the information you need frequently. You can store your PAN number, account number, passwords, and other details which you need off and on using the notepad and access them with just a click. The phonebook has made people to forget the existence of index diaries. With this convenient feature in your pocket, you do not have to remember innumerable contact numbers and e-mail IDs when you need them. Simply put in the name, and all the contacts will appear automatically in front of you. Some mobile apps even provide the feature of calling people or sending them message on a pre- decided time. Now, whenever you have to make an important call or send a message at a particular time, just save in the details and they will be made automatically without you making conscious effort.

With all these features, cell phones have made life so convenient, it is virtually impossible to imagine a life without them.
